Tacrolimus (topical) is used to treat a skin condition called eczema (atopic dermatitis) in patients who have not responded well to, or who should not use, other eczema medications (e.g., topical steroids).
Drug Interactions
Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription medication you may use, especially of: other skin products, cimetidine, macrolide antibiotics (e.g., clarithromycin, erythromycin), St John's wort, azole antifungals (e.g., itraconazole, ketoconazole), protease inhibitors (e.g., indinavir, ritonavir), calcium channel blockers (e.g., diltiazem, verapamil).
Overdose
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. This medicine may be harmful if swallowed. Symptoms of overdose may include tremor, diarrhea, blurred vision, dizziness, and nausea.
Missed Dose
If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.

How long after taking ASTAGRAF can you take it?
If you miss your dose of ASTAGRAF XL, it should be taken as soon as possible, but no longer than 14 hours after your regularly scheduled time. If it is longer than 14 hours, the missed dose should be skipped and the next dose should be taken the following morning at your regularly scheduled time.
Can you take ASTAGRAF XL if you are allergic to tacrolimus?
Do not take ASTAGRAF XL if you are allergic to tacrolimus or any of the ingredients in ASTAGRAF XL.
