What is the aim support program?
All patients who have been prescribed Adempas will be asked to read, select, and consent to optional support provided by the Aim Patient Support Program on the Adempas Prescription and Patient Support Program Enrollment Form. All female patients will be required to sign the Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS) Patient Enrollment and Consent Form. You can read and consent while in your physician's office or the forms can be sent to you directly by the Aim Support Program Center.
How long is Medicare copay assistance?
Medicare or Medicaid patients are ineligible. Assistance is for one year, after which, patients must re-apply. Patients must notify the program of any change in their insurance status. Patients in certain states may be ineligible. The co-pay assistance has an annual cap per patient year.

How long does Adempas last?
Patients receive Adempas at no cost for up to 90 days. Government and Uninsured/Underinsured. Patient Assistance Program2: Patients who are unable to afford their medication may be eligible to receive Adempas at no cost for 1 year.

Uses
Aspirin is used to relieve mild to moderate pain, reduce fever, to reduce inflammation and swelling in conditions such as arthritis and is used in low doses as a "blood thinner" to prevent the formation of blood clots. It is effective in reducing the risk of stroke and offers a protective effect against heart attacks in men with chest pain.
How To Use
Take by mouth with food or after meals to prevent stomach upset. Take this medication with a full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) of water unless your doctor directs you otherwise. Do not lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking this drug. Sustained release, long acting or enteric-coated preparations must be swallowed whole.
Side Effects
Stomach upset is the most common side effect. Others include heartburn, loss of appetite or dizziness. Notify your doctor if any of these symptoms persist or worsen. Notify your doctor promptly if you develop: persistent ringing in the ears, difficulty hearing, dark urine, yellowing eyes, easy bruising, persistent stomach pain, black stools.
Precautions
If you have any of the following health problems, consult your doctor before using aspirin: liver disease, kidney disease, bleeding disorders, ulcers, stomach/intestinal problems, nasal polyps, gout, asthma, any allergies - especially aspirin/NSAID allergy (e.g., ibuprofen, celecoxib).
Drug Interactions
Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially: "blood thinners" (anticoagulants or antiplatelet drugs such as warfarin, heparins, NSAIDs), acetazolamide, corticosteroids (e.g., prednisone), methotrexate, medication for gout, medication for diabetes.
Overdose
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
