How To Use
This medication is used as a topical gel to be applied with a toothbrush. Use once or twice daily after thorough brushing and flossing. Shake excess water from toothbrush. Apply gel liberally to toothbrush (cover bristle surface completely). Brush all surfaces of teeth for 1 minute. Be sure to swish gel around and between teeth.
Side Effects
This medication may cause staining of the teeth or tongue. The stains can be removed by your dentist. Changes in taste can also occur while using this medication. If this medication is accidentally swallowed, stomach upset or nausea may occur. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Precautions
Tell your doctor your medical history, especially: all illnesses, if you are on a low-salt diet, if you live in an area where the drinking water is fluoridated, allergies (especially to fluoride).
