Other possible uses are to treat Tourette's syndrome, migraine headaches, stomach pain with rectal bleeding (ulcerative colitis), or hot flashes associated with menopause.
How To Use
Take this medication exactly as prescribed. Try to take it at the same time (s) each day. Do not stop taking this medication without consulting your doctor. Some conditions may become worse when the drug is abruptly stopped. Your dose may need to be gradually decreased. Tablets may be taken with food or milk to avoid stomach irritation.
Side Effects
Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, constipation, loss of appetite, fatigue, nasal congestion and dry eyes may occur the first several days as your body adjusts to the medication. To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly.
Precautions
Tell your doctor if you have any medical conditions, especially: heart or circulatory problems, depression. Before having surgery, including dental surgery, tell the doctor about your blood pressure medications. Limit intake of alcohol. Clonidine should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy.

Missed Dose
