Who should take Lynparza?
LYNPARZA is for adults with an inherited BRCA mutation and HER2-negative early breast cancer who had surgery and received chemotherapy either before or after surgery. LYNPARZA is not approved for patients under 18.
How is Lynparza used to treat prostate cancer?
LYNPARZA is used as a maintenance treatment after your cancer has not progressed on at least 16 weeks of treatment with platinum-based chemotherapy. Your healthcare provider will perform a test to make sure LYNPARZA is right for you prostate cancer with certain inherited or acquired abnormal genes called homologous recombination repair (HRR genes).
How do I enroll in the Lynparza program?
Doctors and pharmacists can help patients enroll in the program and then file claims on their behalf. Must have commercial health insurance that covers medication costs for LYNPARZA but not the full cost to the patient

The goal of the LYNPARZA Patient Savings Program is to assist eligible, commercially insured patients with their out-of-pocket costs for LYNPARZA. Patients may have access to up to $26,000 per year to assist with LYNPARZA out-of-pocket costs There are no income requirements to participate in the program

Avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice for the duration of your treatment, as these may interact with olaparib. The drinking of alcohol (in small amounts) does not appear to affect the safety or usefulness of olaparib. Olaparib may damage sperm and may harm the baby if used during pregnancy.
Do Lynparza side effects get better?
Lynparza can cause certain side effects, some of which are more common than others. These side effects may be temporary, lasting a few days to weeks. However, if the side effects last longer than that, bother you, or become severe, be sure to talk with your doctor or pharmacist.
