The MiniMed 670G should not be used in patients who are: Unwilling or unable to perform a minimum of four blood glucose tests per day. Unwilling or unable to receive follow-up care from a healthcare professional. People may not see pump signals or hear the alarm because of vision or hearing loss. The pump has multiple safety alarms but it will not notify the user if the infusion set is leaking or the insulin potency is low. If the glucose reading is out of range when the MiniMed 670G is in use, patients should check the insulin pump and infusion line for any leakage.
