Who qualifies for VIVITROL?
You are 18 years or older. You are not using any federal or state healthcare programs to pay for your VIVITROL prescription. You are being treated for alcohol dependence or opioid dependence.

To test for a physical dependence on opioid-containing medicines or street drugs, your healthcare provider may give you a small injection of a medicine called naloxone.
