Does a hospital estimate include physician fees?
Eligibility
Any patient or responsible party (i.e. head of household, spouse, parent, grandparent, etc.) who feels they may be in need of financial assistance can apply.
Qualification
Applicants will be notified in writing if they are eligible and what percentage of their account will be credited. Patient Financial Services will subtract the approved financial assistance amount from the patient's bill and confirm payment arrangement on any remaining balance.

Does a hospital estimate include physician fees?
The estimate includes the hospital’s charges and fees, but it does not include physician fees, such as charges for your emergency room physician, radiologist or anesthesiologist. In addition, your final cost may be higher or lower depending on many factors, including insurance coverage, the length of your stay in the hospital, health complications and recommended treatments ordered by your doctor.
