How long does it take for KEVZARA to work?
KEVZARA, taken with methotrexate, has been proven to: Relieve pain in as little as 2 weeks (for some, it may take up to 3 months) Reduce tender and swollen joints.
How is KEVZARA given?
The recommended dose of Kevzara is 200 mg once every 2 weeks administered as a subcutaneous injection. Reduction of dose from 200 mg once every 2 weeks to 150 mg once every 2 weeks is recommended for management of neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, and liver enzyme elevations.
Does KEVZARA make you tired?
diarrhea, stomach pain, weight loss; sores on your skin; pain or burning when you urinate; or. feeling very tired.
Does KEVZARA lower your immune system?
KEVZARA can lower the ability of your immune system to fight infections. Some people have had serious infections while using KEVZARA, including tuberculosis (TB), and infections caused by bacteria, fungi, or viruses that can spread throughout the body.
Can KEVZARA cause hair loss?
Hair loss should not occur as a side effect of Kevzara when the drug is used alone. Hair loss wasn't reported in clinical trials of Kevzara. However, hair loss can be a side effect of methotrexate. In some cases, doctors may prescribe this drug in combination with Kevzara to treat rheumatoid arthritis (RA).
Does KEVZARA cause weight gain?
Weight gain is not a reported side effect of Kevzara. The symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis can make people tired and make it hard for them to move and exercise, which may contribute to weight gain. Other drugs that may also be given for rheumatoid arthritis, such as prednisone, are more likely to cause weight gain.
Can you drink alcohol while taking Kevzara?
Alcohol use and Kevzara Alcohol may also affect your liver. So, alcohol and Kevzara together may increase your risk of liver problems. Also, other medications you may take with Kevzara, such as Trexall (methotrexate) or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), may interact with alcohol.
Can Kevzara cause stomach pain?
Kevzara may cause you to have a tear in your stomach or intestines. This is more likely if you have diverticulitis or a stomach ulcer, or if you also take steroids, methotrexate, or an NSAID (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug). Call your doctor right away if you have a fever and ongoing stomach pain.
Can Kevzara cause elevated liver enzymes?

What are the most common adverse reactions to kevadar?

Gastrointestinal Perforation. GI perforation risk may be increased with concurrent diverticulitis or concomitant use of NSAIDs or corticosteroids. Gastrointestinal perforations have been reported in clinical studies, primarily as complications of diverticulitis. Promptly evaluate patients presenting with new onset abdominal symptoms.
